Pipedrive, a CRM and sales tool, raises $50M to take on Salesforce and Microsoft
Techcrunch reports on Pipedrive, a Renovata client, which has raised a new $50M round of funding.
Pipedrive is carving its niche in the $40BN CRM space, with a specific focus not on improving sales relationships, but on simplifying sales activities so that salespeople can do less admin and more actual selling.
This focus has led to stellar growth: the company has 75,000 customers in 170 countries, and consistently posts triple digital revenue growth.
The Series C round takes Pipedrive’s total funding to $80M; and the round was led by Insight Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but Techcrunch suggests a valuation of $300M+
