TechCrunch: “Vimeo acquires Livestream, launches its own live video product”
TechCrunch reports on the acquisition of Livestream, the live video streaming platform and Renovata client, by hosting and streaming leader, Vimeo. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed, but it is likely to close by the end of the year.

Livestream today powers over 10 million events every year, hosting the output of more than 10,000 paying brands from Dow Jones to Spotify.
